On August 17, 2026, the Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat University warmly welcomed Dr. Sung-Tae Park, President of Wonkwang University, South Korea, and his distinguished delegation on the occasion of their official visit to the faculty.

The welcome ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Auchara Tangsathapornpong, MD., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat University, together with members of the executive team and faculty representatives. The occasion reflected the faculty’s commitment to fostering strong international partnerships and advancing global medical education.

During the visit, both parties engaged in a meaningful exchange of knowledge, experiences, and perspectives on medical education, curriculum development, and academic innovation. Discussions also covered potential areas of future collaboration, including student and faculty exchange programs, joint research initiatives, and academic development activities that would benefit both institutions.

In addition, the delegation from Wonkwang University was given a guided tour of the faculty’s key facilities, including its state-of-the-art medical simulation center, clinical training units, and research laboratories. The visit provided valuable insights into the faculty’s educational philosophy, academic activities, and its ongoing efforts to develop medical professionals of the highest standard.

This visit marks an important step toward strengthening the academic relationship between the Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat University, and Wonkwang University, with both institutions expressing their shared commitment to excellence in medical education and international cooperation.

เมื่อวันที่ 17 สิงหาคม 2569 คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ให้การต้อนรับ Dr. Sung-Tae Park อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัย Wonkwang สาธารณรัฐเกาหลี พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้แทน ในโอกาสเข้าเยี่ยมชมคณะแพทยศาสตร์อย่างเป็นทางการ

การต้อนรับในครั้งนี้นำโดย รองศาสตราจารย์ แพทย์หญิงอัจฉรา ตั้งสถาพรพงษ์ คณบดีคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหารและผู้แทนจากหน่วยงานต่าง ๆ ของคณะ โดยการต้อนรับในครั้งนี้สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความมุ่งมั่นของคณะในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านวิชาการในระดับนานาชาติ

ในระหว่างการเยี่ยมชม ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้มีการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูล ประสบการณ์ และมุมมองด้านการจัดการศึกษาทางการแพทย์ การพัฒนาหลักสูตร และนวัตกรรมทางวิชาการ รวมถึงหารือถึงความเป็นไปได้ในการขยายความร่วมมือในอนาคต อาทิ โครงการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาและบุคลากร โครงการวิจัยร่วม ตลอดจนกิจกรรมพัฒนาวิชาการที่จะเป็นประโยชน์แก่ทั้งสองสถาบัน

นอกจากนี้ คณะผู้แทนจากมหาวิทยาลัย Wonkwang ยังได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมสถานที่สำคัญต่าง ๆ ของคณะ ได้แก่ ศูนย์จำลองทางการแพทย์ที่ทันสมัย หน่วยฝึกปฏิบัติทางคลินิก และห้องปฏิบัติการวิจัย ซึ่งช่วยให้คณะผู้แทนได้รับความเข้าใจเชิงลึกเกี่ยวกับปรัชญาการศึกษา กิจกรรมทางวิชาการ และแนวทางการพัฒนาบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ของคณะ

การเยี่ยมชมในครั้งนี้นับเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการกระชับความสัมพันธ์ทางวิชาการระหว่างคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ และมหาวิทยาลัย Wonkwang โดยทั้งสองสถาบันได้แสดงเจตนารมณ์ร่วมกันในการมุ่งสู่ความเป็นเลิศด้านการศึกษาทางการแพทย์และการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือในระดับนานาชาติต่อไป
